Silver Christening- and a baby spoon

Silver objects always tell their own story, whether they are heirlooms, mementos of a milestone or achievement, a daily part of the table setting, or utilitarian and decorative objects.
Silver objects add a touch of luxury to our lives and their timelessness is often associated with fond memories.

The tradition of the silver watering cane goes back a long way. The belief that a silver spoon protects a child from disease and illness is based on the antibacterial surface of silver. Silver is a safe material for children and the shape of the spoon makes it easy for children to grasp. On the back of the spoon there are places for weight, height and time. The first name and date also fit on the back.
